isitafox
With that budget I'd look toward a new 2011 Echo Lite and spend the extra cash on some new bits like a new headset.
dundy9
im straying towards the onza as i know people who've had them and they say there a very strong frame and onza frames are the only frames nowadays that seem to not snap or crack. was thinking about the 2011 lite as well but i just dont know it looks very weak. dengs designs haven't been the best over these last couple of years so im a bit weary. Seriously?? What about the Onza Skull! I think the new Echo's and the stock Zoo have had a lot of thought go into them and I wouldn't have thought there'd be any worry of one snapping. Stan at Tartybikes has cut the top tube out of his 2011 stock echo and replaced it with a length of carbon fibre, considering they sell the things I'd say thats putting a lot of faith into a product and would really give me some confidence in the strength of the things. However, each to their own. I guess personally I'm not a big fan of Onzas so that probably comes into it! If you want a new frame and are willing to spend £400 why not buy the full build speedrace fans up for sale on the forum as thats down for £420 I think and that is a bargain! dundy9
im staying away from the onza skull as one of my friends has just snapped one. the ice and the limey are the only 2 onza frames of decent standard. i like the echo lite frame but im just abit unsure as to weather to get one. i think it may be the echo frame though for the price, will be needed a new headset and for the price of the onza i can get a echo frame and a headset. not really interested in the for sale section bikes as ive known people get them of there and they just fall in bits, never know what your getting with them. could be underlying cracks or breaks in the frames. dundy9
yer that was the only downfall i found with the onza ice frame. the weight being around 1.8 and with me being used a frame weight of a 1.4 it would make a big difference. but then are generally a nice frame. ive decided im going to but the onza limey 320 in gunsmoke grey.
