thispartisrequired
Whenever a topic on tensioners comes up people say make a spoke tensioner. How? Where do you mount it and how do you mount it (photos would be helpful) I can understand that the natural springiness of the spoke does the tensioning its just the mounting I cant get my head round Cheers Sam
Nick Manning
Cool, well the only reason am doing it is to compare the 2 pads. I'll be back using the yellows very soon as there simply awesome. Am just sad that i want to know if there is any difference. Your best bet is to contact Andy Ponting or Mike Singleton, as they both use this tension system.
Miles Mallinson
You mount it on the dropouts around the hub axle with part of the spoke bent in to the mech hanger hole or any other hole near the dropout, I'm having trouble with one at the moment I can't say I really trust it even if its working well I just have a feeling at the back of my mind that it will pop off the chain and tangle in to my chain or wheel.
