hi,

Enric Gibert is writing a article for a MTB magazine about 24" trial bikes and he want to know the opinion of the people. He will put some of these words in the article.

What do you think about these bikes? Do you think they will have a good futur? etc... all you can say about it will be great

thanks a lot for the help ;)

i believe the 24" has a huge future as its the biggest bridge towards the much bigger sport of BMX. A mix of trials and BMX can only be a good thing, with a huge potential for people to switch between sports or ultimately have the best of both and ride 24". It's only going to get bigger, better and more widely followed.

i find riding my 24" extremely fun and i also love the fact that you can put some bmx riding into trials of trials into bmx. i use to do bmx before i started trials, bought a 24" and will never go back, love it, great fun and hopefully everyone else will realise how fun 24" trials is aswell :)

I started on a mod then went to stock. Now I'm on a 24inch. I ride street, natty and starting comps. Loving how it rides and how there is a comprmise(sp) between the other to. Can roll over things that a mod cant but you can fit into gaps that a stock would struggle with. Think its the best of both worlds and will have a big following in the future when company's start to invest in it more.

Also Mark what was the protest about?

To the OP:

Write in your article, until a really good tyres are made for 24, i.e Continental derkaisers 24 or maxxis minion 24 that dont weigh a ton or try all sticky 24 tyres then it is doomed imo.

There are tyres out there being used by people that say they are fab but really nothing near as good as those tyres.

My Urban Swamp 2.5 is perfect, took so much weight off my back wheel compared to the High Roller, and my bike feels really light. Not doomed.

Also Continental are rumored to be producing a 24" range?

Agreed that Try-all 24" would be awesome though.

Edit: Matt has a good point though, put that in the magazine...more 24" trials suitable tyres are needed. Have I now contradicted myself? :S
