gary-mac
Hi guys. right i fancy doing afew british cups this year, The 2rounds in fort william then bracken rocks and shipley glen later in the year if i can. Plan to put some effort in to practise come lighter night etc. What route?? how hard is red/expert as this is what i'd like to give a bash or would black be a better choice. isitafox
Going off your last vid on the Echo I'd start by giving black a go. Bare in mind that you can change route after you've started if your finding it too easy/hard but I'm not sure how long you have to do that, have to check the rules, but I reckon it would be a good start point. The only British cup round I made last year was the last one at Shipley and the routes there were bloody hard but they'd upped the difficulty quite a bit apparently as people were complaining it was too easy so red may suit you. All depends if you use the bash much??

Yeah I think black route may be the answer, I think by end of year with practising I then could maybe try red. Any one got any video clips of British Cups in uk? Duncy H
I rekon you'd easily cope fine with red, having watched your recent videos and knowing of your mototrials background I reckon you would do jusst fine Also as said you can change what route you do after up to 2-3 sections have been rode. isitafox
Have a search on Youtube for some of Jack Carthys vids. A lot of them are from the cup though he's on the yellow but it should give you a rough idea, may be some vids linked off his that show stuff in more detail. isitafox
The only trials at my level currently where I live involves jumping up 3-4 ½ foot walls then jumping back down off them so a comp adds a little bit of variety to what I'm used to! isitafox
I'd just like a bit of variety where a line doesn't involve just 1 move like going up or coming down, not ridden at Bracken since I was 17 either and it's only half an hour from home so I'll really be looking forward to that one! Robin M S/c
Gary it's got to be red route for you. Its more competitive than black. Don't even dream of being on blue as that is what Adam is doingand he's only 9! We normally do fort bill but won't see you therethis year as adam will be doing European championship in Sweden that weekend.
