kaybs41282
I just bought some of this from the boys at Tarty as I couldn't be bothered hunting out tar. I've always just used smooth rims and currently run the magura black pads (not for much longer). I bought some thinking it may work it may not and applied some to my rim today and had a whirl...WOW! I couldn't believe how much the brakes locked up, I think I added too much but the performance increased 10 fold...so solid! I dread to think what a grind and some decent pads would be like! 1 happy consumer!
Luke Dunstan
I use it now and again. However if you use too much, then your brake becomes minging.
crashbanggg
How long will a can last, roughly? And how long will each spray last? (It that makes sense..) I need something to improve my braking but without the extremes of grinding...
kaybs41282
Not sure really I had a ride for an hour and one spray was still working a treat... Well worth a fiver and less daunting than a grind
ketas44
I used the spray a for a couple of months and I'd say it last for a good 1.5 hours till it wheres off, I really can't say how much a can last I still have it I just sort of stopped using it after I changed my pads and had light grind on my rim. crashbanggg
All is OK anyway I found a can of 'Vycoat' in the grage which provides a slightly tacky layer, its worked brilliantly, and I dont have to pay for it

Simpson
Try and avoid it if you use too much your brake will literally stick on and you will lose your face. If your in the sport long term, save 30quid and buy a grinder and some decent pads.
