Rusevelt
A little article of Danny chatting about traversing through Edinburgh's iconic places. I wonder if DMC will be down London this weekend for the Redbull 'ART OF MOTION' parkour competition event at the Royal National Theatre. . sstein
I read this. I got quite annoyed by the fact that they called him a 'bmx daredevil' and said he rides a 'trail' bike. But oh well, even if they get the names wrong it is still exposure for the sport I guess.
Matthew62
Yeah i read this on the tube this morning. My girlfriend rang me saying "there's an article in the Metro that will make you happy". It did not. Sick of hearing 'parkour on 2 wheels' and his bike ain't made my redbull. I mean the interviewer spent the day with him and he still calls his bike a BMX. The Metro is utter bollocks. Agreed, we don't call football 'kicking balls with nets' And considering in all of his interviews he has said 'I'm a trials rider' then they write down 'I am a BMXer'. I can't even comprehend the stupidity of these people

Rusevelt
I'm pretty sure that todays dedicated scene of Bmxers, and Parkour/Freerunners, do not equally support Metro's distinction of what DMC does on a bike. That fact that Danny is putting trials, Bmx, Parkour, on the map of Londoners is ultimately a good thing. Not forgetting Edinburgh, which is what this article is really about.....promoting tourism. Matthew62
That's true, there's no real point in journalists getting things correct anyway - it's all just words really, no ones actually reading.
Luke Rainbird
How about everyone just shuts the f**k up being whiny little bitches and just chills out about it. Calling it BMX or a trails bike is a whole lot less annoying than people moaning about it every single time...
Matthew62
I don't think this is whining - it's not the usual "Danny's not trials blah blah blah" My comment is that from the Metro it's very sloppy reporting and as someone who see's it everyday it's just another example of how bad a publication it really is. As a journalist a huge factor to your job is researching your story/subject and if you're making such fundamental mistakes the it's not a great sign is it? Also to the millions of Londoner's who were reading that paper, some of them might have though.."f**k yeah that stuff looks a lot of fun - i like that fuzzy faced Scottish fella - i'm 'a' goin get myself a sweet ass bmx' it doesn't really help does it.
