Luke Dunstan
Feeling pretty cramped on the current set up, could I benefit from using a mod stem? Currently using a Tarty forged stock stem. Any ideas would be great. And as you can see, I make this bike look tiny. Alex Dark
try-all 127 x 27 or tarty forged like you've got. Ideally you'd want something between 150mm and 127? so around 140mm x 28* but that's just a *wee* bit specific
Greetings
I'd recommend a 138x25 Echo SL stem and Trialtech High Riser bars. Running such a setup on my Zoo (yes, it's not a 24") but the handlebars are pretty high up and you have endless possibilities when it comes to changing the angle of the bars. You can make the bike feel longer or shorter while maintaining a comfortable riding position.
Revolver
I use a trialtech forged stem and rockbars, it's just right! Well, for trialsy trials. In fact, scratch that, it seems like an overall improvement.
Luke Dunstan
Thinking of getting TT High Risers, Will that make much of a difference??
Revolver
Some, definitely. Get the bars, if they don't make it nicer, get a longer stem on top.

craigjames
I ran an older (slopey top carp) tryall nuc stem and some TT high rise bars on my 24. The extra height reach the bars give you really helps but by the size of you, you probably want a longer and higher stem than the nuc too! JDâ„¢
It's probably worth looking at what Ben Rowlands uses, as he needs a lot of room. I know he runs about a metre of stackers, but can't remember his stem.
Mark W
Ben's running Inspired risers with a System-Ex 90mm stem, I think. Fairly different setup compared to what you'd want for trials. I've ridden a couple of 24" trials setups and all of them have had a mod stem on. Savage's 24" bike had a Trialtech Sport 20" stem on and that bike was amazing. Considering how small you make that bike look I reckon it'd help out quite a lot. Echo 24 frames have a mega high BB so it'll help balance that out by raising the front end too EDIT: You can use this chart to work out how it'll affect your front end. Using a 150x30 compared to a 125x25 makes your front end 10mm longer, but 27mm higher. http://alex.phred.org/stemchart/Default.aspx

Mark W
Cool. If you check that post again there's a link which might help you work out stem choices
