dann2707
Zodak Zx1 is really really good for price. But I do believe there is a 1080p upgrade for around £30 more. Click on 720p for quality tester.
MadManMike
If you were thinking "proper" camera, ie dSLR, avoid the D3100 for video. It's shite. Lovely for photos, but don't let the whole "1080p woohoo!" advertising trick you into thinking it's good for video.

Thats the ZX3 a.k.a the playsport (The one in my first post) I think you can get the Zx1 (Which is the one Dan2707 posted) for about £
dann2707
Yeah as said thats the upgraded one. to be honest i didnt want to spend much as knowing me im obly going to drop it alot so £50 is feasable. Also you can get a snap on fish eye lense for a tenner which definitely improves everything as i found the standard lense is zoomed in way too much and to get a shot of everything you havr to stand back really far

Almost have to set it up across the road to take some shots! Where can you get one from?? Kodak Playsport The footage at 2mins (Plus other bits) with this camera, its mint for £85! Bit off topic but you look really awkward riding with flat bars, the front end looks far too low for you! Get some risers slapped on!! dann2707
Not at a computer atm mate so might be hard for me to find it but i'll search now for you bud. I'll show you a vid of how close you can actually get now. Best part is its not uber crazy fish eye effect. Just a slight wide angle. please excuse my girly excitement... Dan6061
I just got myself a Flip Vido MinoHD. £100 at Comet. It's pretty good! 8GB (2hrs video) hard drive, plugs straight into USB. Pretty good quality too.

isitafox
Unless you plan on some extreme close ups you won't be needing a macro mode

Ive got that camera (Zi8) its good but the Playsport is better, the Playsport has a wider angle lens and its waterproof. They come with a built in USB connector and they also come with have and HDMI cables but you will need to buy an SD card if you haven't already got one? It will do 1080p but it zooms in even more than normal, i find that 720p @60fps with the image stabilization turned off gives the best results. Ive just ordered one of these to see if it helps?
