What Pedals Are Better For Grip Caged Or Platform

Depends on what footwear you use also mate - I've always used DMR V8's or the cheap replicas and never had an issue, unless wearing the wrong kinda shoes.

V8's I find are a good choice, from my experience they tend to last forever too, but then I'm not exactly hardcore so I guess they never took too much abuse.

I've always found the platform of V8's a little small.

Im currently using Onza Hognesiums (wellgo mg1)and am really getting on with them. Never been a great fan of cages due to their fragility and shin-munching nature. However they are super grippy and damn light....

Yeah I think with pedals it's definitely a case of what fits you best - I've just always used V8's so I'm used to them. Maybe try out a few different bikes with the shoes you use and see which feel "right" for you.

Platforms have always felt a bit wrong to me and I took a chunk outta my shin with 'em pretty quickly which put me off, but I may have just been unlucky.
