dannytrialskid
Right, this has happened to me for a long time now and it is irritating. When I use to sidehop I did it landing to both wheels which looked really smooth etc... When I learnt wheelswapping whilst sidehopping I obviously used my front wheel first then swap to back. This happens to me when I sidehop now, and I just can't stop it. I land with my front and sort of bring the back over a bit. It looks tacky and I want to stop. I have tried and tried and can't figure how. Any suggestions? :/ Thanks in advance, Danny.
bikeperson45
I also do this, but the higher I can do it to front the higher I can do it to both wheels. I'd sort of say keep your weight more over the back, I think.
dirt jumper jake
Pull the front up more.
dannytrialskid
Pull the front up more. Easier said then done. But I have tried and it does work sometimes. Edited March 12, 2011 by dannytrialskid
CalopS
Try just going just to rear for a while. Maybe it will balence your sidehop technique out.
i like cunning stunts
Does it really matter? I mean sometimes you are going to land the front first depending on a lot of factors sometimes it might be beneficial to go to front.. Look at beleays sidehop he always lands front wheel first.. Matt Vandart
To front secures the move early on- TRASHZEN this = a good thing. Edited March 13, 2011 by Matt Vandart

6ft-midget
It may 'look tacky' but if you're still securing the height you want, does it really matter?
0zzy
landing to front i think the hit rate of you not falling off is a lot higher because if it goes tits up its alot easier to land on pedal!
bikeperson45
And also it makes sidehopping to thinner landings easier
alistair14
if you use your front brake to pull you up, try not to use it, it helped me land flat upto almost over bar hight means you dont rely on the front wheel pulling you up

Just don't touch your front brake at all. Your head will work Itself aroudn the fact you cant rely on it and therefore bringing you to two wheels. ( Or still going to front and realising what a silly thing it was )
Kieran Morrison
Why do you want to change? I do this now, and ever since i started to do it all it has done is got me higher! EDIT: I think it got me higher because landing on the front allows you to lean forward to pull the back one up. Matt Vandart
Also if you are going to land to front you are effectively not having to jump so high. Remembering trials is all about finding the path of least resistance over an object, so with this in mind, to front wheel is all win. Alex Dark
take off a little further away from normal, and try and take off without using the back brake so much. Try and scoop the bike up more with the pedal stroke. At least thats what it feels like for me
