Alex Dark
I personally dont think you can. Isopropyl alcohol is the best bet ( recommended by Hayes and magura ) for cleaning rotors / pads. Other people will say fill a tuna can up with meths, chuck pads in then set on fire to burn away the contaminants. Other way of doing it is over a gas stove with the pads in some mole grips. Dishwasher is a good bet for the rotor
LukasMcNeal
If im honest it'll never be the same, your best bet is just new pads and either throughly clean the rotor or buy a new one. You can get pads and rotors off ebay for rather cheap than official avid replacements which will work just as good IMO
Manus-Rider
You can cook the pads in the cooker and sand a little bit off the pad and if your disc is contaminated then soak it in brake cleaner and then wipe all the crap off it. Hope this helps
dundy9
sorted it now. soaked it in some heavy duty cleanning fluid get everything anything and just pedalled around with the brake on. 5 minutes later the pads and disc were fine. just bedding in now.
