l33th3tr33 Posted March 12, 2011 Report Share Posted March 12, 2011 what did you race in ? Race type, Just normal destruction derby, oval ring, driving one way. Can't remember how many laps it was. Best cars to do it are Nissan bluebirds, Jaguars and Ford granadas IMO. Metro madness is pretty good fun too if you can get hold of a GTA. MadManMike Posted March 13, 2011 Report Share Posted March 13, 2011 I used to go and spec a fair bit, it's a great evening out in the summer! Would quite like to have a go but I reckon I'd be too much of a wimp to actually do it. If you've never been before, give it a go - our local track does nights that have 3 events I think it is, and three rounds of each, so nine races in total. Lightning rods, which I think are 2 litres, like Sierras, bangers which are pretty much anything that fancy getting smashed up and then ministox which are obviously Mini's. I remember seeing a woman roll her Mini several times and it took about half an hour to get her out of it and onto a stretcher - that certainly wasn't entertaining, everyone cheered when it turned out she was ok.
