isitafox
I need to change the cups on my try all BB but don't know how your supposed to remove the one thats on there. I assume it has something to do with removing the axle and/or bearings but can anyone point me in the right direction??
N.Wood
From memory it splits down into 6 parts - 2 cups (inc. bearings), centre sleeve, axle and the 2 green or gold axle washers. I think it all just pulls apart?
craigjames
Remove the non-drive cup, pull off the axle spacers. Gently clamp in a vice by the drive side cup and tap the axle out. Sorted. Need to change my drive side cup as the tool interface died when i tired unscrewing it on one of the freezing days a few months back. Where are you getting a spare cup from? super
I've had a couple and they've always just pulled apart. If you need to use tools then you've got a problem
Mark W
My drive-side cup was pretty tight so I just did the loosely in a vice/tap with a mallet routine. Didn't do it any harm.
