multi tasking male
Hello, i have just got my self a stock, and i was woundering what pads will work best on a smooth rim and some times tar. And my wheels are slightly buckled, how could i get them straight again? Thanks in advance i am using heatsink coast pads on a smooth rim with tar at the moment and works very well and works even better on a grind by all accounts if you can get hold of any heatsink honig pads there very good on a smooth rim, i used these a while ago now on a maggy and they where amazing, little bit of tar gives it nice bite and they have very good hold but hard to come across as heatsink dont make the compound any more i havnt realy got much exsperiance with pads but on the forum theres a pad review section, have a look in there and for your wheels, if it isnt very bad then take it to a bike shop and ask them to true it up for you and if they cant then new rims i guess chris
Azarathal
Any pad with Tar will work good, although grinds win every time. As for the buckle, learn how to true a rim.
