gu trials
the new range of onzas are quite cheap and good enouth to learn on, also once you get better you will have the option to sell the bike on and go for something a little higher spec or keep it and change small parts on it
bikeperson45
400 pounds will get you a pretty awesome bike second hand, take a look on eBay and on here. I assume you want a stock?

bikeperson45
If you're not sure what size wheels you want it's worth trying to go on a ride and ask some people to try them out, although since you've learned so far on 26" it might be worth keeping to that. Just found this, just so you know what sort of stuff's out there - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MAD-Phase-1-1-Trials-bike-AS-USED-MAD-TEAM-750-RRP-/180630686237?pt=UK_Bikes_GL&hash=item2a0e6d8a1d#ht_621wt_932
mbhuw
I reackon that an onza birds a pretty decent idea cause their usually about £70 second hand? Although there pretty cheap i read reviews that they crack once you start throwing it around quite a bit. Sounds like their only good for the real begginer. Keep checking ebay and pinkbike and you'l soon find a pretty sweet ride I just got a second hand onza rip off ebay pretty cheap.
Culshaw95
well its depending on what size of bike you want i have a 24" Onza Zoot but most people i know find that it is best to learn on a 20". http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/media/guides/product_guide_20_inch_vs_24_inch_vs_26_inch_wheels/m8.html here is a video guide helping to choose what spec you would feel most comfortable with
