PaRtZ
My second/replacement hard drive is now dying. I keep getting 'boot load error' displayed everytime I try to boot up so I think its wise to get a new HD before it packs up all together. I really want some guidance from those in the know of a hard drive manufacturer that will last me over a year (I lost the warranty for this one, but I think its just outside a year). So im after a reputable make, about 500gb - 1tb, fastest RPM as poss (unless that causes the problems? ) If anyone has some possible solutions / things to try im all ears too Thanks
Muel
I'd say avoid the Samsung range at the moment. I recently lost an F3 1tb, and my Mum's bloke an F1 320gb and an F3 320gb. They's not the best quality if you ask me.... As for what else to get, I'm not sure what to advice. Personally I'd be going Western Digital if I was buying right now, but only because I don't want any more Samsung drives and they seem to be the next best option. ZeroMatt
Sounds pretty unlucky muel, had a few f1s running 24/7 for about 3 years now with no issue at all.

Leistonbmx
Which hopefully means a drop in the older models. But will probably not happen/be a very small decrease in price.
Muel
I reckon they're gonna come in above until the old stock is sold out, then the prices will start dropping towards the current crop's level. I fancy a pair of C300s really, but if the C400s are coming at a not-too-inflated price, then I might as well wait for the dust to settle.
