Laurence--Trials
First off.. my wheels, they wobble from side to side and makes my discs rub against the pads it makes them hard to set up and generally something you don't want. Its a Echo TR Rear Disc 19" wheel and a Echo TR Front 20"wheel. They're both about an year old now, they're wobbling at the axle, i THINK it might be something to do with the sealed bearing cases. Secondly.. my disc rotor bolts, they've come loose for the past 3 rides and its really annoying as i have to end my ride early. Its my rear more than front but front has happened once. they're Echo TR hubs, with hope bolts, I even glued them in and they STILL come f**king loose, really annoying me, help pleaseee!!! Loctite the shit out of them, the only way to cure it. i tend to take a t25 allen key out with me so if they come lose you can tighten them, but yeah, loctite. Laurence--Trials
Just thought, would it be possible to put a nut on the other side of the bolt to stop it coming loose?
Dwarf Shortage
'Wheels wobbling', sounds like you might have loose cones, get a cone spanner and tighten it up a bit, local LBS may do it for you for free, or intensely cheap.
Dan6061
Sealed hubs don't usually have cones to tighten, as they're a sealed bearing. If the frame/forks is definately clamping the wheel up properly, and they're still wobbling, then it'll mean the bearings are shot and need replacing. All you can really do is take it apart and have a proper look at it!
Matt Burrows
Hub= Snapped axle/worn bearings/axle bolts not clamping the frame properly For the bolts you need loctite 243. If you don't coat the bolts and hub threads with it when you fit them then they will come loose. You can get it from any decent hardware store, or halfords/homebase etc
Laurence--Trials
Alright then, i'll do that, last time i tryed to take them out i think they were rusted in or something? How do i get them out? Makes my bike sound like a heap' really
Matt Vandart
Dude do not do that. Sometimes tr axles are to long for the dropouts if you get me. The bolts are tightening onto the axle not the dropouts. Check for this.

Laurence--Trials
Okay have the Axles out, they're perfect condition, its the bearings that wobble, they need replacing?
konstant
If you're seeing wobble from newish sealed bearing hubs, it's likely that the tolerances aren't up to scratch. The axle/body/bearing diameters need to be absolutely spot on for the hub to not have any inherent play. I sent back a brand new Pro 2 for this reason a while ago. Turns out that the bearings were outside of spec - Hope put some new ones in and the hub was perfect.
Ali C
Yeah, I suspect that the spokes are stretching the flanges out just enough for the bearing to get a little play. Get some red Loctite and apply to the outside of the bearing and re-fit, you shouldn't have any more issues.
