trials owns
do you drag it down hill? that makes it wear down quicker. Edited March 4, 2011 by trials owns
dann2707
what rim is it?
Luke Dunstan
Depends how much you ride, and how deep the grind is. I really only use my front brake (disc) when cycling from A to B.
Alex Dark
How deep is deep?! What pads are you running, and most importantly what rim?

Ateam
Its a trialtech sl rim.. i have hs33s front and back. Im running heatsink coust pads. Same here except I have LGM pads with TNN backings. My grind goes a good while. And like above, I only use the rear brake when trialsin.
forteh
Grind life depends on the rim material, softer rims like the old tryall wear down pretty quick where as harder rims like the dx32 stay sharp for ages. Also just because the grind is deep doesn't mean its sharp. Using a disk with a fresh square edge will give a sharper grind, a rounded disk will produce a dull grind.
