isitafox
How does the rear brake perform?? What setup have you got in terms of clamps, pads and grind?
drouchka
How does the rear brake perform?? What setup have you got in terms of clamps, pads and grind? I've not ride the bike yet because i'm waiting for my pads. My pads will be the Heatsink blue, my rims are not grinded, i use classic hs 33 (front and rear) . isitafox
The blues are the supersoft compound are they not? Personally I never used a booster until recently but now I've ridden with one I'd highly recommend it, I run a Trialtech 2 bolt booster on my stock and the TNN booster/clamp combo on my mod and I'd recommend both highly though the TNN setup is a bit pricey! I really need a brake booster on the front ? what do you think about the echo tr in comparaison to the trialtech ?
isitafox
No you won't find a booster that will fit the front to be honest I don't think. Not sure on the Echo, not heard anyone who's had one comment on it I've only heard about the Trialtech from other people.
drouchka
ok thank you so much . Waiting for echo-RT's and mad-phase's reviews...
isitafox
If you want a MAD phase review have a look at some of the vids on the MAD stunt demo teams website as they all ride the same frame as you've got.
drouchka
I just put a pair of pads on the back of my bike and braking, I saw that the frame departs well. Will a 2 bolts boost braker be effective enough?
isitafox
Yes a 2 bolt booster should be enough to hold it
Nick Manning
On my Phase I ran a Trialtech 2 bolt booster on the rear, as I found the frame flexes a lot. I highly recommend a booster for the rear, it stiffens the feel, helps and reduces flex allowing the brake to feel more powerful and bitey. drouchka
ok thank you so much i'm going to buy one . If someone has an opinion about the echo Rt brake booster compared to the trialtech ?
howvard
ok thank you so much i'm going to buy one . If someone has an opinion about the echo Rt brake booster compared to the trialtech ? I have a mad phase 1.3 and had a pretty random rear brake setup but I would say the trialtech one as thats what held my frame and brake solid
drouchka
the trialtech brake booster is fitted for 95mm minimum space, however on the mad the space is of 90 mm . do you think it will work ?
isitafox
Not without a bit of filing but I don't see that as a problem
