GU TP mods have a design flaw, they all crack at the toptube or downtube mount sooner rather than later. Deng mentioned that around '08 lots of workers at the factories had to be changed for economic reasons, so the quality of his products suffered a lot. The A3 however, is a great frame!

Out of those 3 original ones from the first post, I'd go for a 2011 Lite. Next would be Ice 2.

really really really don't like Ice frames, I think they are ugly and are the 2nd worse mod I have ridden (after the older pythons).

I am really struggling to suggest any mods I like the feel of, I guess the closest is a Fans.

Does that include an 07??

They started riding alright after they started making the back end shorter than the front end :P Most Lynx/Python builds I had a go on tended to have super low front ends which just kinda killed them for mod riding ("IMO"...), so I don't think that helped.

As an alternative to the ones mentioned the Yaabaa 949 frame is both pretty cheap and pretty strong. Geo's decent too.
