Pepo09
As the title says can I strip the paint off an echo sl rim? I have a gold one and want to make it polished silver but does that make any sort of damage to the rim? What elements should I use to do it? I can get pictures of the rim if you want. Thanks, Peter

Sam T
If its gold then its probably anodised. Get some causic soda, and scrub it with wire wool or something like a brillo pad. It wont get all of it off, so best bet is too get yourself a couple of wire brushes and polish. Good luck!

Joe Papasnap Maher
I have done this on my rims. Casutic soda..tis very cheap..mix in with water..leave the rim in for as long as it takes, and then scrub and clean with brilo/wire wool.wet and dry. Be careful with the caustic soda thoug..dot get it on ur skin..tis leathal stuff!!
