davidbarr
Is there any possible way to add disc mounts to your standard hub? I've had a look around online but can't seem to find anything and don't really know what to search for. May be impossible but thought it was worth asking. Miles Mallinson
Not really, the only hub ive ever heard of having a removable disc mount is a Dmr Revolver, just get a new hub its alot easier than trying to do something that isn't really possible or that is possible but would proberly snap. Miles Mallinson
It would be a good idea for companies to make a front hub a removable disc mount people are forever swapping between disc, vee or magura.
t-comp-kierz
If your rear hub has threads in both sides you can put a disk adaptor on, but it would probably come lose all the time. Hehe I always do that. I don't think there are any front hubs with threads on either side but a rear would work but not very reliable Edited February 22, 2011 by Milo123

Naah, cause a disc mount isn't exactly much weight, so the clever thing is to buy a disc hub.

N.Wood
You can't really use a screw on disk adaptor for trials as it puts forces on it both ways. For commuting, fine.
p_ruskin
It would be a good idea for companies to make a front hub a removable disc mount people are forever swapping between disc, vee or magura. But you could use just a normal disk hub for disks, vees and maguras? A certain mount hub isn't needed to use a rim brake.

Yeh there are them, I never thought they were that good though the ridges sometimes got abit wrecked, its a good idea though. But you could use just a normal disk hub for disks, vees and maguras? A certain mount hub isn't needed to use a rim brake. Just a weight saving thing really.
