I know I am more confident to try things when I know I am not going to slip off the pedals, so good shoes do make you a better rider.

Yer this is a valid point ...I,m looking for abit of ankle support but not too restrictive

what is size 48 converted to uk? about an 8? i,m size 7 :$

No pain no gain..... -.-

sprained ankles and busted shins are a pretty pointless pain to get some gain though when you can avoid it with the right footwear.

I love my 5/10's! Mine are pretty shot now after a year + but they should be ok with the summer coming up

I might get some more while there on sale though.

I definetly feel more confident on them. Even just trying some back hops on the drive in skate shoes feels totally wrong.

I use the newer freerunners, but used to use the older model. I liked them for riding, but prefer the look of the new ones.

They all have the same rubber on the sole, so pick which style you like really.

They do look nice. I find when I wear anything with thin soles my arches really hurt, do you know if they are any good for mid sole support?

Just got the new black freerunners they are in a different league as far as grip and comfort goes to trials specific shoes and they look a lot lot better. Win/win. (Y)

Dont worry they are a lot thicker than you think best shoes for the money you wont be dissapointed.

I use stealth freerunners, they are ace but I will be getting the thinner soled ones next like Savage has been using.

I think it is this one, I shall ask him next time I get a chance. I think James Hyland was wearing them also when he was down this way but not 100% sure.

Yer something i haven,t quite thought about till now is correct balance of sole , too tougher/hard sole resulting in not being able to feel the pedals enough and opposite being too soft where you can feel the pins etc

I once a ride a leeds ride in pumps oh boy were my feet hurting next day

are the free runner ones available in black?#

Edit: sorry did,t registered that line lol
