PebbleWrestler Posted February 19, 2011 Report Share Posted February 19, 2011 (edited) ordered a front wheel, echo hub laced to a green echo rim...did a grind, slapped some rubber on....and it wont fit on my forks!!! last front wheel was a monty hub/rim....wtf? does trialtech even make a front hub?? this is just complete bullshit, i really think there should be some sort of industry standard for pads/hubs/dropouts cause these companies are only hurting the riders. i just spent $200 on a wheel thats not gonna fit on my bike....FFFFFUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!! /end rant sorry dudes, just needed to vent!! Zetec S Posted February 19, 2011 Report Share Posted February 19, 2011 tire clearence or the hub won't fit into the drop outs? unless if they are brand new forks, i'd say a light file'ing would do the job, can't be that far out, will still be a 10mm axle for an assumtion... LOL....duly noted, gonna file my forks now and to isitafox - dumb question, but do you think i would be better served filing the axle down > my forks? just double checking before i take my mill b*****d to the sweetest forks on the market!!
