dann2707
You need decent pads. Check out the pad review section in "Trials Chat"

rab shropshire
what pads are you running at the minute? i have found that it doesnt matter too much what pads you have ( unless they are magura blacks) it is all about the set up of the brake if your allignment is perfect your brake should be gleaming

jacksnell95
if you have an angle grinder then you could grind the rim your self or get the local bike shop to grind it. also i know what pads you are on about because i have them on the rear at the moment and there not to bad but if you want to have a grind on your front i suggest getting some hard brake pads or if you want to keep a smooth rim get some soft pads also you could rough the pads up with a bit on sand paper as that can help
