BradJohnson Posted February 18, 2011 Report Share Posted February 18, 2011 Hi i was just wondering what i should do, i have v brakes on my bike and truthfully they are terrible they slip as soon as im up on the rear wheel. i need help choosing a brake that wont slip as much should i buy TNN vee pads or should i get the 2011 hs11 with evo adaptors. If it was dead after a few rides it must be off been really light, try and steepen the angle when your grinding but not too much that you crack the rim obviously. Endohopper Posted February 19, 2011 Report Share Posted February 19, 2011 If your frame has V mounts, I'd certainly advise against going to Magura . Besides which , a correctly set up V can easily rival the performance of even an HS33. What exactly does your brake consist of - which levers , cable and calipers ? With a regrind , a pair of the pads suggested above and some careful setting up , you'll soon have every confidence when on the back wheel .
