Interactive Guide For Nmc

Alright, I've been using Flash CS4 for a couple of years, I've got some games up on Kongregate, and I was thinking of making an interactive guide to Trials Forum to be stuck in NMC or something, which can give new members a lot of the information which is commonly asked about in topics, easily and without clogging up the forum with repetitive topics.

Before I start actually working on it, I was wondering (@Mods), is it possible to embed a .swf file into a topic? Or a way to make the file accessible on TF?

@Everyone, feel free to tell me if you think it's a pointless idea, add your own things you'd like to see in a guide for NMC, etc.

So far I've got a quick overview of what Trials is, as a sort of 'welcome to the forum', an interactive quiz on how to get validated easily, and an FAQ kinda thing, i.e. "What bike should I get?" and then some stuff off the wiki.

I'll regularly upload the file so the rest of the forum can ask to change stuff if it's wrong, ask for more stuff to put in, etc.

It would be fantastic if there was some sort of quiz at the end, easy though, like a multiple choice, and you'd have to get it all right to join the forum.

I see your game mike, I see your game.

Did a quick mock up, no content yet, sorted the base, kept the kinda trials forum-y theme, may remove the logo as it could look a bit weird being directly below the logo on the web page.

Gah, I'm not permitted to upload this type of file.

Mods/Admins, help?

As you said they're obviously not reading it or taking much of an interest to it, so I was thinking how I could make people actually want to read something.

Now if I can make an interesting flash guide with bells and whistles, which laid down everything all the different guides do, in a simple, condensed yet attractive form maybe more people would actually read it and take it in.

In the interests of clarity, it was my decision to not be a mod any more. To put it simply, I didn't really want to help the vast majority of people on here who wanted to help, and I couldn't really be bothered doing it any more. This now means that when JT starts crying about double standards again I don't have to give a shit, when Pete Wright starts making fake accounts I don't have to fire up the IP checker, when people want their FS/WTD threads cleaned up I don't have to spend 10mins deleting "bump" posts, when people PM me to change their name I don't have to reply back and tell them to contact Tom or Danny, etc.
