craigjames
Just picked up a Hydroxx LT frame and matching Koxx forks, have a front hope mono trial 3T (the +20 calliper) calliper using a 180mm rotor. The rotor fouls on the calliper by only 2-3mm and the specs of this bike I've seen have stated 160 or 190mm rotors, so I'm slightly confused as to what's going on here! Anyone shed any light on the matter?! Hopefully the pics show what's going on.
Mark W
Those forks are made for a 155mm rotor, so you'd need a 175mm rotor if you want to use a #3 caliper.
Luke Rainbird
What's the power like with a 155mm rotor on a stock, enough power or does it leave a little to be desired?

Cheers mark, Luke and I managed to bash our heads together hard enough to come to that conclusion eventually. Any ideas where i'd find a 175mm rotor? Or is it the choice of new forks or getting a #5 calliper and 155 rotor, which as Luke has asked i'm not overly keen on.
Matt Vandart
What's the power like with a 155mm rotor on a stock, enough power or does it leave a little to be desired? I ran a 160mm rotor on a hope brake on a stock for a while and it was ok. Hope themselves can make you a 175mm rotor I do believe or they may have one for you anyway. Ali C
I think with a Hope it might be alright, but a 175mm would be better. I was going to sort one out with them but didn't bother in the end. If you had a #5 caliper you could bosh a +40 on there and you could run a 190. Could theoretically do the same with your #3 if you put a +20, but it's a bit bigger/bulkier/sticky-outier than the +40 so it might flex more/cane your fork. As Matt said, Hope could probably sort you out! This was Mark on Ali's account, btw.
craigjames
Rang up Hope this morning and they said they'd happily make a 175mm mono trial rotor, wasn't going to be anymore than a normal sized one either which surprised me. Hope's excellent customer service again.
Matt Vandart
I thought this was the case, they will make pretty much anything you want.
