quick_spider
Rode today and was bitterly disappointed in the front brake. Initially bite seemed good, but when doing some squeakers it gave way completely... It looks like (in addition to the caliper flex) that it's leaking from the hose and has pissed fluid all over the disc/pads :@ Not sure why thumbnails don't work on attachments
Scott Gibbs
Needs some slicks and a shorter stem but other than that awesome!
Luke Dunstan
Needs some slicks and a shorter stem but other than that awesome! That's rider preference. Looks awesome, really like white schemes.
LEON
I think Slicks are meh, got 2 dmr moto rt's & I'd swap them anyday for something more dh/mtb, they're too stiff/dead, no feel & no bounce, they're only nice when you're rolling on smooth ground. Is that your permanent stem choice? Edited February 13, 2011 by LEON
Scott Gibbs
Its each to their own really. I cant really get on with nobblies anymore. Personally i prefer maxxis hollyrollers in the summer and dmr moto diggers when i gets muddier.
LEON
Diggers are just too weak, I got a pinch today, from a 360 bunnyhop on the flat.....nice & light but useless if you weigh more than 6 stone lol. Buy my rt's anytime you like Just find me a tioga factory dh 2.3 lol.
Scott Gibbs
Ah there is a name that brings back memories! Tioga's were all the rage back in the day. Quite grippy if i remember correctly. is that whats goin on your marino?
LEON
Yea I always liked them, long as they're on a wide rim they're fine, yea I wanna get 1 on the back, I just want proper tread but nothing too heavy, not a big Maxxis fan. quick_spider
I'm not sure on the stem yet - will probably go for something shorter, but will see how I get on to begin with. Ordered some new pads etc... to fix front brake.
Matt Vandart
Got a planet x stem and a hope stem (70x25) that may be nice on there if your interested.
