monkeyseemonkeydo
Portland is brilliant. There are plenty of little spots dotted around the 'island' but you could quite easily spend a day (week?) at the bill itself. You won't regret it! sam w
Anyone have any experience of riding there from Weymouth train station? It doesn't look that far on a map, but on a trials bike i'm thinking it may be hard... Also, which part of the 'island' is the 'bill' located? It would take you most of the day on a trials bike and a lot of it is up seriously steep hills. The bill is the Southern most tip, where the lighthouse is. sam w
Ok just had another look and Google says 7 miles to the southern tip (and that's obviously in a straight line)! Thanks for warning me before I made an attempt.

N.Wood
Its worth it, if you've not been there before you can easily spend a weekend at the bill and a weekend in each of the quarries. We usually take the third exit at the roundabout at the top of the hill (after the lefthand uphill bend) and park in the cricket club car park on that road. Across the road is the quarry we usually ride in.
monkeyseemonkeydo
Here is good. As is here. And of course the Bill. There's also some good riding around Weymouth too.
