AJ9604
I'm looking to replace my echo light v/disc forks and was wondering what the light weight options were with good strength, was looking at the echo sl forks but did not know how strong they were. Cheers Aj
eskimo
Trialtech. But those don't have a V option. Great strength and weight combo, and so much stiffer than Echos.
aener
Not the lightest, but they're not THAT heavy, and in terms of strength they are the absolute king. I am speaking of TrialTech's, of course. No vee, but disks are better anyway
Greetings
What about Bonz forks? They're fairly lightweight and made of the same alloy as Trialtech forks. That's where I'd start looking at least. Trialtechs aren't exactly light.
AJ9604
Sorry I did not write it clearly, I want disc forks, I was looking to save weight from my echo lite v/disc fork. Cheers Aj
davidbarr
i bought my try all disc forks second hand and have bashed them about quite a bit and they are still going strong. very light as well.
AndrewG
Trialtech, bonz and maybe rockman
SamKidney
Try-All forks. Lightweight and seem to have held up to some very heavy landings and failed to fronts
davey1991
Try-All forks. Lightweight and seem to have held up to some very heavy landings and failed to fronts That seems surprising to me but i don't know why. I'm gonna climb aboard the bandwagon and say trialtech. Dave Anscombe
koxx forks not sure about the set im running (magura version) but the disc versions lasted me a year
Sponge
Trialtechs seem the best in terms of strength/weight ratio. Though, as a general question for anyone who knows: Since the T-tech dropouts are of the '9mm industry standard', aside from T-tech hubs, what brand hubs fit them without modification? Monty99
i called trialmarkt.de today and he told me about a new Echo SL fork, avaible in about 4 weeks, thicker steerer, less holes, but still VERY light... it's allready shown in his shop. http://www.trialmarkt.de/product_info.php/info/p541_Gabel-Echo-SL-20--disk-only---schwarz.html
AdamR28
Already available in the UK too. Best weight/strength ratio in 20" forks I would say V!Z Lights - although it's unclear if you are after V brake forks..?
Greetings
Already available in the UK too. Would those be the ones with E on the steerer? Haven't heard of any new SL forks personally, thought they just underwent some styling changes a few months ago to fit the new hollow headtube.
