onza tpro
iv just bough my self a mod and i was talking to my friend who rides a stock and he was thinking about running duel disc and i was wondering if this is a good idea? cheers
davey1991
Its ok, not great though. Disks don't tend to have enough leverage on a stock but that all depends on the setup.

Little Yoshi
If he gets 200-203 mm disks on the stock it will be grand. I run duel disk on my 24 and wont go any other way.

p_ruskin
Cant stand disks personally, can understand them on a Mod, but through experience they still aren't as good as a decent rim break set up. Don't know how well dual disk would work on a Stock, you would defiantly have to have some huge rotors.
sstein
I'm currently running one bike with dual disc and one bike with a rear maggie. The disc on the rear is fun and great for smoother, streetier stuff but is a little underpowerful and does not really inspire confidence when going big or pushing your limits. 6ft-midget
I wouldn't be worried about the lack of power from disc brakes. A proper set up 180mm bb7 or hope would be more than adequate. The problem with rear disc on a stock is wheel flex. I'd stay stick with a rear maggie on the stock. On a mod though rear disc is excellent
