Cresswell_d
Hi all! I'm fed up of my single speed chain tensioner. (it keeps losing tension) Is there any chance of getting a old derailluer and making it single speed? If so, how? Thanks, Darren. P.S I am riding a 26" Edited January 29, 2011 by Cresswell_d

LukasMcNeal
I know you can use a derailluer but I dont have a clue as I didnt ride when people used to do that! As for sprung tensioners take a look at these http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/sprung_tensioners/c48.html
Matt Vandart
mount dérailleur and chain. Cut off about 12" of cable off the lever end keeping the nibble. poke cable though where the cable normally goes so the nibble goes in the screw adjuster. Pull cable through the cable clamp until yer chain lines up. tighten clamp. Job done.
