CriminalTrials.co.uk
As title says really. Ive always had 22t front chain ring on my burns and 18t rear sprocket. Ive recently bought an 18t front bash n ring for my 170mm burns. What size sprocket should i go for, 15 or 16 im guessing. What seems to be most popular. I ride street and am used to my quite heavy old Koxx LB 1040. Opinions guys? Cheers Danny
trialsmax04
its a personal choice really. But i would use a 16 with that set up.
Jon Alty
18:15 would feel pretty much the same as 22:18 and is what most people use. Edited January 27, 2011 by Jon Alty

Im looking to pretty much match the same feel as i have now as if anything i cud do with the extra power of a higher gear so will likely go with a 15 then. Thanks guys

Thanks guys Yea like i said, personal opinion really. I was running 18-15 with 175 cranks, went to a rear 16t which i feel improved my riding slightly. Now on 16-14 with 175 burns (smidge lighter than 18-15) and it feels pretty good also.
