LEON
With a protractor.
Revolver
I think that is right. So you need a protractor or something else that measures angles. The x by the floor works, but if you measure the angle that your forks make with the floor it will be wrong because forks are at an offset to the steerer tube, so you're better off using the top one. You could get two pieces of wood screwed together, use this to make the angle with, and then measure it with a protractor away from the bike. Techically you could use a pair of scissors like that, but they are loose at the pivot so the angle would change before you meaured it. forteh
In reality the quickest and easiest way to measure your head angle is use a an engineers combination protractor along the lines of this: - Set the bike vertical using a spirit level, whack the rule against the middle of the front face of the headtube and adjust the protractor until the bubble in the spirit level is reading central; read the resulting angle and hey presto Depending on your headset you might not be able to get a reading directly off the headtube, you might need to use some parallel material to space away from the cups; however if the headset cups are the same diameter you can take the measurement off those. Or a protactor and plumb line if you want the easy way
