I was just wondering what is the most common trials, Gear Ratio?

I was just thinking of it as im buying a new bike soon but don't want the supplied Gear Ratio, it might be Too soft or Too hard?

Any idea's? (Y)

I love grammar checking :P

Depends on your wheel size and what cranks you're running.. 18:15 is the norm on stocks, whereas 18:12 is usually used on mods so it's pretty much up to you. I have wee legs so have to use 18:16 on my stock. Just get the bike how it's set-up, try the suggested gear ratio and if you don't like it get another rear cog ( nearly definitely wont be too light for you, so you'll probably have to go a tooth bigger ). If you have any local riders have a bash on their bikes and see what the gearing feels like to you :)
