isitafox
I've been having a few problems with my back brake, when I pull really hard on the lever one of the pistons pushes itself through the clamps. It's a 2011 HS11, Echo TR clamps with a Trialtech 2 bolt booster and I'm pretty sure the clamps are done up so they're touching so won't go any tighter. Has anyone else had this problem with the same setup? Is it worth shaving a few mil off the end of the bolts holding the booster in case they're a bit too long and bottoming out on the frame? Mikee
You could try wrapping abit of insulation tape around your slave cylinders so the clamps have abit more to clamp too. I would suggest trying this before you start removing material from anything.

Andeee
try putting a few washers in with the bolts?

If the bolts are bottoming out, the clamps won't meet. If they meet, then it's just a dud fit so then use your tape.
Sam T
I had the exact same problem. 2011 HS33, standard magura clamps. I'd set it up perfect, tighten the clamps tight ( too tight as i stripped a thread today ) and by the end of a ride the pistons will have pushed right out and the lever would come into the bars. What I did was file the bottom of the clamps down so that they meet flat ( filed away the little bits on the end ) and now its perfect.
