pashley-phil
im looking to buy a new helmet and my local bike shop has just got some urge ones in. I like them but was just wondering what everyone else's thoughts where on them? I pretty sure I'll have one by tonight unless people put me off it in the next couple of hours, These are the lightest helmet I have ever picked up Check this:
Captain Scarlet
They look really good to me. Initially I would be concerned with bulkiness/weight but if you say they are light then it looks like a good upgrade and offers more protection than standard helmets. Ali C
Martyn was wearing one at the cycle show, I must admit I wasn't blown away with how it looks.
Sam T
I won one of these from MBUK. Not the nicest looking helmet, but they are extremely comfortable and lightweight. Edited January 21, 2011 by TrialsSam
onza1
I don't currently wear a helmet ( too tight to buy one) but these do look sweet how much are they ?
Revolver
This looks better. Sadly, when it last cropped up we found out it's a combination of two helmets.
John Shrewsbury
They are very light weight and very very comfortable, i might get one for when i ride xc.
JD™
This looks better. Sadly, when it last cropped up we found out it's a combination of two helmets. Isn't it just the urge helmet with a Giro(?) peak on it? Urge + Ebay + ? = Profit.
Revolver
http://www.limarhelmets.com/ita/prod_det.php?id_cat=31&id_sotcat=42&id=63 http://www.limarhelmets.com/ita/prod_det.php?id_cat=31&id_sotcat=42&id=62 It was something like that, with the chin guard bit removed, and with the peak of another helmet on there. I found the old topic: My linkhttp://www.trials-forum.co.uk/topic/150802-can-anyone-identify-this-kickass-helmet/page__p__2117426__hl__helmet+brumotti__fromsearch__1#entry2117426 Apparently they still make them both. However, you'd have to blow your money on two helmets to get it. Edited January 21, 2011 by Revolver
davey1991
I don't currently wear a helmet ( too tight to buy one) but these do look sweet how much are they ? That's really not an area to be tight on. They look ok and from what I've read hey work well to.
Miles Mallinson
I'd say they would look better with a sleaker peak, it is just a lighter open faced moto trials helmet.
pashley-phil
Well I got this helmet last night, and it is really nice, it feels so light on the head. I would recommend one all day long
onzajorge
Look sweet... Stopped wearing my helmet to be honest due to the weight of it. Glad to hear these are light. How much are they?
onza1
I've found them for £70 is quite expensive especially just for looks I quite fancy one myself but have never seen them in shops so cant try one
monty-james
Look sweet... Stopped wearing my helmet to be honest due to the weight of it. That cant be a good idea, what were you wearing on your head? A brick? My helmet isnt the lightest helmet in the world, its just an average helmet weight really but i find that after ive been wearing it for a while, i forget its on. Kinda like assless chaps. Revolver
I used to not like wearing my helmet because it was heavy. So I'd only wear it when I was actually riding, and take it off if I wasn't doing tricks or stuff. Then I bought a MET kaos or whatever it's called, and it is dead light, so I leave it on. So the moral of the story is, get a helmet that weighs 200g, and you'll never notice it.

onzajorge
I dont know what it was to be honest ... not a brick ... but was quite annoying heavy. Much better now i have invested in a lighter one. It's all battered and bruised though So am looking at a new one
monty-james
Ive heard good things about Met and Fox helmets. I use an older Giro helmet (apparantly they dont make them anymore) and i think they are amazing, i strongly recommend you get a Giro helmet.
