George.E
For some strange reason my Mono Trial caliper is leaking from under the blead nipple. Yes I have checked it is tight. I just wanted to know do you think a new blead nipple will fix the problem? Thanks
Miles Mallinson
It may be overtight, maybe put some PTFE tape on it if that doesn't work, its what plumbers use to seal pipes.

This^ Hope bleed nipples will often leak after bleeding if you don't use ptfe tape.

Matt Burrows
that just seems shit if you ask me! like ive always said HOPE they work Just because you are ignorant as to how something works doesn't make it shit. Most hydraulic brakes require ptfe tape or sealant on all fixing unions, whether its a brake system on a bike or a car. Threads just don't give a good seal in a high pressure system. I will admit that hydraulic discs can be difficult to set-up and maintain. If you're not good mechanically then you are probably better off with a different brake, but they are far from shit...
