Alex Dark
Right, I basically want to transfer £300 to the Bank of China to buy some bits online, however I can't seem to find a decent rate for the transfer. If anyone has experiences with this, or good places to go that'd be great! Looking for a safe way to transfer it, within 3days ideally and with the minimum total charges. The money will be transferred into USD too, as a base example MoneyGram charge £8.99 for that amount ( so recipient gets $448.16, just going to see if anyone knows a cheaper way of doing it Thanks in advance! Alex Dark
Western Union is pretty expensive unfortunately, and he only wants the money in a bank account not through paypal

Alex Dark
Im fairly sure its just a case of not having paypal and not wanting the hassle of setting one up. Its from a manufacturer so should be sound

Shaun H
Why can't you just do a normal International Bank Transfer? That's usually the cheapest method.

HayersToby
Paypal, do it all at home and safer. I use it to send money back home
Greetings
not through paypal Paypal If you're buying bike bits, I hope you've considered the 48.5% import tax? Just making sure you know, you're trying to save a few quid but will be charged many times more once this reaches the customs office.
