Canardweb
After stopping riding my bike for quite a long time for mental health reason, I am finally back with a light full build from my sponsor Trialparts.net. The weight is 8.0 kilos as I now have titanium parts , carbon bars, and other light parts. It rides like a dream and feels just perfect. If you need specs, you can ask them. Thanks a lot to trialparts.net of course for the excellent support. Edited January 17, 2011 by Canardweb

Canardweb
Cheers mates. My chance is that I am what we can call "cured" now. So I can ride the hell out of that bike. I am not used to it yet, but it will come and then I will make an HD video. Edited January 18, 2011 by Canardweb

3dd
It rides like a dream and feels just perfect. Wait. This sounds familiar! That looks great! I find bike helps me to relax and forget about everything else when I am concentrated on the objective!
Canardweb
That is actually the frame I have had for the longest time (7 months), and it is really good, so I'll try to keep it as long as possible.
Ben John - Hynes
I'm seriously considering one of those frames! They look soooo good!!
Blake
Really great to hear that you've overcome depression and are back riding again, really inspiring. Looking forward to seeing that video as well!

Laurence--Trials
Nice looking bike, though not too keen on the grapics (the golden bits)
Revolver
I need to ask. Wat happened to the marino? Probably he got sick of seeing the typo that was on it.
Rusevelt
I need to ask. Wat happened to the marino? I guess he finally gave up on trying to ride it. Shame really after all the time he invested on designing that steed.
Canardweb
Them spokes on the front, certainly laced different! I am trying to lower the number of spokes before making a prototype rim to see if it can resist. I need to ask. Wat happened to the marino? It's still in my garage, unbuilt... I just couldn't tap with it, so it was really annoying. It was really heavy too and much too long and high. I got wrong!
Ali C
there is nothing wrong with a bike being a little heavy, I feel you are kinda shooting yourself in the foot riding a bike this light. Firstly it's never going to be that strong or stiff (proto super light front rim with fewer spokes? No thanks). Learning to ride with a super light bike is like learning to drive in a super car, sure it will feel nice, but when you ever ride a heavier bike (because lets face it, you wont always have a bike this light) it will feel like shit to you. Because the bike is so light, you won't have to put as much energy and technique into riding and it may feel like it's improving your riding, you're actually doing yourself harm. I think you should give the weight saving obsession a rest, get some more practical parts and use a super light bike for when you are in the world champs. (mainly talking about tyres and stuff her) Other than the bike not really being practical for every day use, it is pretty good looking.

Don't forget that I am not a weight weenie, but I just like the way a light bike feels. I have been riding a heavy bike for a long time (Marino with Rain King and Try-All front tire) and it didn't disturb me that much. The geo was just not too my taste and I prefered something lower and shorter. Anyway, I just had a chance to get a super bike and got it. It is a great opportunity and I am really happy with it. And it's not really like I am learning how to ride a trials bike... Edited January 20, 2011 by Canardweb
