Miles Mallinson
Planning a 4 day trip down to Lancashire in Feb, just wanting to get an idea of the best places to ride my big bike and trials bike, I've heard Healey Nab is pretty good but there must be a few trail centreish places around there, Lee Quarry is definitely on the list but I heard there is riding in the next quarry over? Yeah, Cragg Quarry is just over the tops, I think there is a link route and signposts now If you head to Healey Nab (outside work hours) let me know and I'll pop down! Ben H!
The other quarries I know of are Cowm quarry which is in Whitworth, & is a proper run Business which I think you can access from Lee quarry, & Ding quarry, Which you can Access at the top of Rooley Moor Road which is a disused old quarry, But I think you can Access it from Lee quarry as well, Never heard about Cragg's quarry before though, Where abouts is it? Yeh I might do that if we can fit it in, it will be on the Saturday 12th morning ish as I'm going to a football match at around 3 in Liverpool so I will have to get down there before then. I'll message you if I can get it sorted.
