Chain Slipping

i am running 16-13 on my inspired with the cheap 4jeri l tensioner ( http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/sprung_tensioners/4jeri_tensioner/c48p10179.html ) that just pushing the chain down for the tension but it is skipping, i have the right chain for the sprockets but when i put pressure over two pedal strokes the chain rides up the teeth at the back and then slips back on will the tensile chain tensioner fix this? this one ( http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/sprung_tensioners/tensile_single_speed/c48p10421.html )

If you haven't got enough chain wrap it's going to slip. I'd recommend using a sprung tensioner like the Tensile or Trialtech.

Should sort the problem.

Please note that we recommend double wheel tensioners for 15T and smaller rear sprockets. This is to ensure a healthy amount of chain wrap and help to eliminate the chance of the chain skipping.

The Trialtech tensioner's pretty much the same as the Tensile but comes without the little locating pin thing so you can get it tucked up more out of the way.
