Newb Question.

Sorry for the newb question, but I feel like when I'm rollin' around on my trials bike I'm really hunched over.

So what's a standard handlebar height for a stock bike? I'm 6'2" (1.88m) tall and ride with a decent stem rise, but no riser bars (it's what came with the bike). Would some riser bars help, or should I just throw on the big-girl panties and deal with it?

Thanks.

What bike is it? Stem and bar height mainly depend on the bottom bracket height to be honest and the wheelbase though I'd recommend changing to some decent riser bars as they'll feel a lot better than flats. I use Tryall rage bars on my mod and tensile 9d's on my stock (they're both basically the same but the tryalls are just wider) and they feel great!

From what I'm told it's an 06 echo pure frame... If my research does me right its 1095 wheel base and 25 BB. Stem has decent rise and length, but nothing spectacularly large.

I dunno??

They do seem to have quite a hunched over position.

We've got long reach, high BB and low forks, so it will chuck your weight forwards compared to another kind of bike.

Now that's not to say your bike doesn't have a low stem.

Get some pictures up! Then we can see.
