Hey guys, ive been looking at buying one of these instead of swaping my current mod for a stock. Really like the look of the super low frame, and spanish bb. Question is: How do they ride? Im new to looking at geos so dont know what im looking for. And how have people found the spanish bb to be? And have the 4 bolt mounts been welded in the right place?! Trait of old echo frames.

How do they ride? Im new to looking at geos so dont know what im looking for.

That'll depend a lot on the front end setup. They've got a pretty high BB so ideally you'll need to raise your bar height a little if you're coming from a lower BB height. Other than that, seem to have 'good' geo in so much as it's not too outlandish or anything.

And how have people found the spanish bb to be?

Stan and I used it on our Echo 24s and had no problems with it. The bearings are massive so they're basically going to last for a good long while, the BB shells appear to be pretty decent so shouldn't warp or anything, and they've got a pretty standard M15 spindle in there so that should be fine too. Installation/removal is super easy as well, plus they can't come loose like standard/Euro BBs can.

And have the 4 bolt mounts been welded in the right place?! Trait of old echo frames.

My Lynx was spot on, all the Lynx and Lite builds that we've done in work have been spot on, Stan's new Pure 2011 is spot on, the Lite 2011s seem to be spot on, etc.

Thanks allot Mark :) Im running a Try-All Nuc stem with the Try-All Rage risers at the minute, but should be buying some Echo TR risers soon. Rise ok? If not new stem can be purchased too. Im running Try-All forks too if that helps? Current frame is Zoo python 06 long.

Yeah, just gotta try and find a time when it's in work and it's not raining outside :P For what it's worth, I love it and I'm fairly jealous haha. Seems to ride pretty well. Stan's got a fairly high-ish front end (Try-All NUC forged stem, carbon bars, and a couple of carbon spacers) and it's nice and composed on two wheels, but feels really good on the back wheel too. Clearance for a Der Kaiser with 18:15 and have the brake mounts line up perfectly too. Integrated tensioners seem to work well. Not much brake flex at all either compared to Stan's Sky, and considering his setup that's pretty good!
