Captain Scarlet
Okay so I have a desktop PC set-up, got an old Sony Hi-Fi system as my speakers/audio output just via 3.5mm auxiliary. The problem is when watching online streaming media (iPlayer, SkyPlayer, TV Catchup, Youtube etc) I get an audible clicking noise about every 5 seconds on top of sound put out from the source media. It is relative to the volume that I am listening, so when I turn up the stereo, the click becomes louder too. It's not a problem with any offline media like music or films stored on my harddrive or even on my Xbox, just online internet browser based stuff is where it occurs. As far as I'm away it's always done it, but it's starting to drive me mental now I'm watching a lot more iPlayer/Sky Player stuff. Anyone else experienced this or know a cure? Thanks in advance. EDIT: Tell a lie, it does do it with my music on my hard drive. Edited January 12, 2011 by Captain Scarlet

Tomm
I had a problem whenever I connected speakers to the front audio out on the PC - every time I moved the mouse the speakers would buzz, also every time the HDD did something, it did the same. It was something to do with the shielding of the audio connection, and when I plugged the speakers into the back of the PC, the problem went away. Doesn't sound like your problem but it might be worth considering.
