Revolver
You know, I think the pure frame will be cheaper. I can pick up a Dr Jekyll I wonder who gave you that idea...
JD™
You know, I think the pure frame will be cheaper. I wonder who gave you that idea... The Pure will obviously be cheaper, I just don't actually think I really want it enough for £80. I know it's a bargain as it is, but if I'm going to spend under a hundred quid on a frame as a stop gap to buying something else then I can't really justify more than 50 quid at the moment. But if I'm buying a frame that I want to keep for a while then the Pure isn't it, no matter how good a deal it is. I certainly won't be cheeky enough to offer Matt 50 quid for what is a great frame, so I can't see that being an option... I was trying to remember who I was chatting to about a Jekyll actually, thanks for piping up! Any clue on the geo? It was actually a guy I met recently locally who wanted to ride tonight and was pissed that I'd snapped my frame. He's got a Jekyll in his room gathering dust and said I can borrow it till I've got something else. Would be a touch if it was similar geo to the ES4, even though I'm sure it wont be! Long stays and -ve BB I would imagine?
Greetings
Wow that's proper oldschool. Surprised that this frame is still in one piece. Was the ES4 the higher model or the ES3?

Long stays and -ve BB I would imagine? Well... Mine's in 24" mode, ADS and all that, and when I rode mine with rigid forks it felt like my mate's leeson ET24 copy. It's pretty short... on 100mm sus it's meant to have +10bb. I think running rigid forks makes it sliiightly negative BB but not too much. Definitely try it out. You might like it! JD™
At least your getting straight back on the horse! I know that if I didn't and made myself wait till I could actually afford it I'd end up having 4 or 5 years off again. So I've bitten the bullet and decided to buy a new frame, and I'll just have to earn some more money!
