craigjames
Which bike you start on is purely down to you, a lot of people start on 20" i'm about the same height as you and start on 26", give a few a try if you can get to a group ride and try a mates bike. Regards to being validated read this.
onza1
Depends on the spec of each bike what were you looking at getting. Tip don't ask to be validated you might want to edit your post
Dave Anscombe
i ride 26 better but i prefere mod because i come from a bmx background im also 5.
BradJohnson
i started out on a 20" i found it ok but i now have 26" it takes little effort do do things because of the big wheels, there isnt much weight difference between the two sizes so it makes the bigger bike feel better and easyer to manage Edited January 8, 2011 by bradjohnson
Lotus Lu
mod bikes will help u to take a better foundation, because mod bikes are shorter, lighter,it can do movements easier than a stock .and after the foundation training,if you like stock ,then change a stock.
