Revolver
To make that setup better you might want to find some cheap middleburn cranks, and possibly get better brake pads, depending on what yours are. Risers bars are also much better than flat bars.

forteh
much would you say a cheap middleburn crank would be ? Cheers You can pick up used burns on here for very cheap (you do need to be validated to access the classifieds though), I paid 35 quid for a set Depends on what youre after, condition/length/interface/colour/bashguard. forteh
If you do get some burns, you will need to use a burn specific bashguard, you wont be able to use the one you have now
Little Dal
oh oki is there any chance you could get me a pic please ? so i can see what you mean ? Dal
forteh
If you look at the middleburn cranks here and scroll to the last photo you can see the spline interface they use with their bashrings. There are a number of different middleburn design bashrings you can use though (middleburn, heatsink and tnn all make them) and are all available from tartybikes
Little Dal
oh oki i see thank you for explaining it i might just stick with you one i got for the time being i have one question do you know were you can get black gold or yellow rim tape from please for 26" drilled rims ? Dal Edited January 6, 2011 by Little Dal
forteh
I use PVC electrical tape for my rims, you can get that in all sorts of colours Wrap it round sticky side up initially (so the dirt doesnt stick to it through the holes) and then wrap it sticky side down to secure it all in place.
