I'm new to trials and was just wondering what stem i should try on my onza spyro.. It feels a little small for me.. I'm only bout 6 ft.. Was thinking maybe some riser bars but by readin other posts people are on about changing stems....

Also What range tyre pressures should i be playing about with as the only other cycling i do is road and 130 psi sounds a little too high....

Also i don't like the feel of the standard brake levers... What would be a good upgrade ?? looking at some avid 7's i think ??

And last of all are shimano free wheels any good or should i get a tensile 1 ???

Cheers Smifee

The tyre pressures that people use change. I run about 15psi in the rear and about 22psi in the front, but i ride a mod and this may be different for a stock.

It also depends on your weight. If you are heavy you are going to need to run a higher psi so that your rim doesn't hit the floor.

hope this helped. but it probably didnt

Before you change your stem I'd stick some risers on your bike of you've currently got flat bars. I'd recommend either tensile 9d, tryall rage or trialtech bars and go from there. Not sure on the levers as I've always run hydraulics but tyre pressures you want to be looking probably between 20-35psi, just give them a try and see what feels right whilst riding.
